We use grit blasting to clean metal surfaces, removing rust, mill scale, paint and dirt to leave a clean, prepared finish ready for the next stage of treatment.
Grit blasting is suitable for a wide range of applications including surface preparation for welding, repair and repainting. It can also be used to create a surface profile or key on steel prior to applying paint or primers, and for roughening smooth surfaces to improve adhesion.
We’ll always discuss the required grade and finish with you before work begins, and can blast to SA2.5 standard.
