About Asnew Blast Cleaning & Restoration

Suffolk-based blast cleaning and restoration specialists serving East Anglia since 1994.

Asnew Blast Cleaning and Restoration is a long-established specialist contractor based in Suffolk, with over 30 years of hands-on experience across blast cleaning, timber restoration, marine hull treatment, chemical paint stripping and airless paint spraying.

We work with homeowners, property developers, boat owners, farmers, architects and industrial clients across Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex, taking on everything from a single oak beam in a cottage inglenook to full barn conversions, commercial steelwork and marine vessel preparation.

What sets us apart

Blast cleaning and restoration is a specialist trade, and not all contractors are equipped to handle the full range of substrates and coatings that a job might involve. At Asnew, we carry the equipment, the experience and the technical knowledge to advise you properly before work begins, recommend the right method and medium for your specific job, and deliver a finish you’d be confident putting your name to.

We work to industry-recognised standards including SA2.5 for steel preparation, and take the time to discuss grade, finish and specification with every client before a single nozzle is pointed at anything.
